Riyadh Cables Group has been awarded a major contract for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 132kV cable systems in Dubai.
The project, commissioned by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), covers the Maktoumi and Sukkari substations, including their associated infrastructure.
It covers a total route length of 41 kilometers that will require 246 kilometers of high-quality cables. The project will connect key infrastructure in Dubai, including the iconic Jabal Ali Palm area.

The Dubai project is part of a broader regional trend toward modernising energy infrastructure.
Dubai has been ramping up its investments in renewable and efficient power systems to meet ambitious sustainability goals under its Clean Energy Strategy 2050.
